HOW TO INSTALL git autocommit extension?
After creating an account, and adding a payment method, you will be able to download a human-readable executable containing your private keys, and the executable code. When run, the executable will prompt you to open a browser and log in in order to refresh these keys. Anyone with access to this executable will have access to your keys, and thus the code you are committing. TODO: update this once I have a prototype.
PRIVACY OF git auto commit?
Because the text inputted by the user must be fed into a machine learning model which processes raw text, we cannot use internal encryption. Instead, we never log more than statistics on the information that passes through our systems, and encrypt the connection between the customer, our servers, and our AI provider (OpenAi). This means that certain members of our organization could theoretically gain access to the customers text.
